LIVINGSTON, Ky. - A local man convicted of running a "chop shop" operation will spend the next 16 years in prison.

Joseph 'Shane' Robinson was convicted of five felonies inside the Livingston County Circuit Courtroom Wednesday.

The stolen property found in his possession was from thefts and burglaries in Lyon, Crittenden and Marshall counties as well as in Ohio and Tennessee.

At the time of the crimes, prosecutors say Robinson was a member of the Iron Horsemen Motorcycle Club.

That's a criminal gang recognized by the United States Department of Justice.
