Man dies after motorcycle hits guardrail and he's ejected

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. - A bad crash in Franklin County, Illinois ended in death.

Coroner Marty Leffler says 38-year-old David Roger Steiner died after he lost control of his motorcycle while riding it on Route 149.  The crash happened just before 4 a.m.

Leffler says the motorcycle hit a guardrail and Steiner was ejected.

Funeral arrangements for Steiner are pending at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia.  He leaves behind a wife and two daughters, as well as his mother and siblings.
