Mayfield man arrested in undercover drug operation

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. - A Mayfield man is in jail after detectives say he purchased pills involved in the making of methamphetamine.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says 24-year-old Prince Edward Benjamin was arrested after he bought Pseudoephedrine pills during an operation conducted by narcotics detectives. Redmon says Benjamin purchased the pills with the intent to sell them to a person who manufactures meth.

Benjamin was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Meth Precursor 1st offense, a Class D Felony. He is in the Graves County Jail.
