3 arrests made in McCracken County burglary case

UPDATE (1:06 p.m.): Alejandro Gonzalez, the man accused of purchasing a stolen motorcycle, turned himself into the McCracken County Sheriff's Department around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Gonzalez faces a charge of Receiving Stolen Property Over $10,000, a class C felony.

The motorcycle has not been located.

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - Deputies in McCracken County, Kentucky say two arrests have been made in connection with a burglary that took place in April.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says a 2011 Kawasaki ZX-14 sport bike, copper wire and other items were stolen from a home on Milliken Road on April 8.

During the investigation, detectives interviewed 33-year-old Richard Middleton and 23-year-old Haley Boggs. Both admitted to burglarizing the home and disposing of the stolen items, which were valued at about $16,000.

Middleton and Boggs were arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Receiving Stolen Property Over $10,000.

Deputies also learned that the motorcycle had been sold to 39-year-old Alejandro Gonzalez. Gonzalez and the stolen motorcycle have not been located.

Gonzalez is wanted for Receiving Stolen Property Over $10,000, a class C felony.

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - Deputies in McCracken County, Kentucky are searching for a Mayfield man they believe bought a stolen motorcycle.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says a 2011 Kawasaki ZX-14 sport bike, copper wire and other items were stolen from a home on Milliken Road on April 8. During the investigation, detectives learned that the bike had been sold to 39-year-old Alejandro Gonzalez.

Detectives executed a search warrant on Friday at Gonzalez's home in the 1800 block of Powers Road. Electronic storage devices that were stolen in the April burglary were found inside the home, along with methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and several firearms.

Gonzalez was not home at the time of the search, but detectives arrested 26-year-old Jamie Burks, who was inside the home. Burks was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree - Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana.

Gonzalez and the stolen motorcycle have not been located. Gonzalez is wanted for Receiving Stolen Property Over $10,000, a class C felony. Detectives say more charges are also pending in the case.
