Multiple casualties at Omaha building collapse

A mass casualty triage unit and special operations unit are at the scene.
Kari Cook told WOWT 6 News her fiance, John Broderick, sent her a text message at 10:09 a.m. It read, "Major accident. I'm hurt and trapped. I love you." Cook said she has not heard from Broderick since receiving the text. He works on the second floor of the building as a supervisor.
Another woman at the scene, Ericka Alecio, told Chase Moffitt her father, Walter Alecia, her uncle, Jesus Navarret, and Eric Okampo were inside when the collapse happened. At least two of those men were injured and taken to the hospital.
Some streets in the area have been shut down to regular traffic.
An employee at Hills Bros. shared this photo with WOWT 6 News. He said no one at Hills Bros. heard or felt an explosion, but noticed the building next door on fire.
