Paducah teen pleads guilty to manslaugher for killing newbornPADUCAH, Ky. - A Paducah teenager originally charged with killing her newborn baby pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. Katelynn Teague (pictured on the left) pleaded guilty to one count of 2nd Degree Manslaughter, and the judge recommends a 10-year sentence. Teague was arrested after giving birth to a baby girl a year ago after police found the full-term infant in a plastic clothing bag inside Teague's closet. At the time, Teague told police the baby died on her own, but medical records released in February showed her newborn child died from suffocation. The judge said Teague is eligible for parole after serving 20 percent of her sentence. Sentencing is scheduled for December 11.
