Paducah woman faces theft, drug charges

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - A Paducah woman faces theft and drug charges after she allegedly stole items from a home and took them to a pawn shop.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to a theft in the 300 block of Meacham Avenue around 10 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies spoke with the victim, then questioned 45-year-old Vicki Raisor, who admitted to taking the missing items to a local pawn shop in exchange for cash. Police also found marijuana, methamphetamine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia in Raisor's possession.

Raisor was charged with Illegal Possession of Legend Drug, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st offense (methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd degree, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Deputies say the case is still under investigation.
