One dead after rollover crash on US 60 in Ledbetter

LEDBETTER, Ky. - Kentucky State Police have identified the driver in a rollover crash this morning as 51-year-old Cynthia L. Felts, of Paducah. Felts was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred around 5:30 a.m. on US 60 in the Ledbetter area.

LEDBETTER, Ky. - One person is dead after a rollover crash early this morning on US 60 in Ledbetter.

According to Kentucky State Police, the crash took place around 5:30 this morning when a 2009 Hyundai Accent ran off the right side of the road. The car went about 200 feet off the road before overturning and hitting a utility pole.

The impact ejected the driver from the car. The driver, whose name is not being released until family is notified, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Livingston County Coroner.

While the accident remains under investigation, it is believed that the driver was not wearing a seatbilt and that speed was a factor in the crash.
