School board names 2 assistant principals for new McCracken County High School

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - McCracken County Public Schools has named two assistant principals for the new McCracken County High School.

Molly Goodman and Elaine Kaye will assume assistant principal roles when the school opens this fall.

Goodman most recently served as the director of public relations for McCracken County Public Schools. Prior to holding that position, Goodman served as a high school technology integration specialist and the chair of the English department at Lone Oak High School. She has worked in the school system since 2005.

Goodman holds a B.S. in Public Relations with secondary English education certification and a M.A. in Education from Murray State University.

"McCracken County High School offers the students of McCracken County unmatched opportunities," Goodman said. "I am thrilled to be a part of the administrative team and look forward to working with a talented group of teachers to help our students achieve greatness."
Kaye has worked for Graves County Schools for the past 19 years, most recently as a guidance counselor. She has also served as a department chairperson and head of the Lead Academy.
Kaye holds a B.S. in Mathematics and M.A. degrees in Education and School Counseling from Murray State University.
"I am excited to join McCracken County Public Schools and become a part of a new high school that offers so many opportunities for students," Kaye said. "I am looking forward to working with our students, parents, staff, and our administrative team as we begin a successful school year."
Lone Oak High School Principal Matthew Houser, Heath High School Principal Jon Reid and Reidland High School Principal Victor Zimmerman were named assistant principals for the school in April. Michael Ceglinski will serve as the school's principal.
