MCCRACKEN COUNTY (Ky.) - One person was injured after a shooting Monday night at a mobile home park.

The shooting occured just before 10 p.m. at Indian Oaks mobile home park. According to McCracken County Sheriff Jon Hayden, one victim was shot in the arm. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A suspect was taken into custody shortly after the shooting. Neither he, nor the victim, have been identified.

Deputies are still searching for the gun used in the shooting.

Sheriff Hayden says officers responded to a call about a possible shooting, and found the victim as soon as they arrived. Witnesses then informed police that the suspect had gone into a nearby mobile home.

Officers then evacuated the nearby homes as a precaution, before attempting to talk to the suspect.

After some discussion, the suspect did leave the mobile home he was in, but according to Sheriff Hayden, was uncooperative with police, refusing to show his hands. Hayden said the suspect was "obviously intoxicated"

Sheriff's deputies then used a flashbang grenade, and a tazer, to subdue to suspect and take him into custody. Hayden adds that no shots were fired in bringing the suspect in.

The shooting remains under investigation.
