Teenager hospitalized after car hits her on MSU campus
MURRAY, Ky. - A northwest Tennessee teenager was hospitalized after being struck by a car on the campus of Murray State University.
The Murray Police Department says the incident occurred shortly before noon on Monday. Police say 18-year-old Jamie Delany, of Dover, was crossing Chestnut Street at the intersection of Gilbert Graves Drive when a car driven by 28-year-old Alicia Woods, of Murray, hit her.
Murray Police say Delany was in the crosswalk at the time of the incident.
Delany was taken to Murray Calloway County Hospital. There is no word on her condition or whether any charges will be filed.
