Two charged with alleged drug crimes

SCOTT COUNTY, Mo. - Two Missouri men face alleged drug crimes.

The Scott County Sheriff's Department charged 52-year-old Timothy S. Farrow and 25-year-old Ryan C. Cook, both of Scott City.

With a search warrant in hand, deputies searched a Scott City home, Thursday.  They tell Local 6 they found controlled substances and paraphernalia.  Deputies arrested both men at that time.

Cook, however, did not plan to go without a fight.  After his arrest and placement in a patrol car, he managed to escape.  Deputies located him a short time later and took him into custody again.

Cook faces several charges including felony possession of a controlled substance and escape from custody.  Bond is $25,000

Farrow faces charges as well.  They include distrubution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.  Deputies released Farrow from jail.  His court date is May 7.
