Pair sought in Williamson County metal theft

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. - The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a large metal theft that occurred at Shew Brothers Welding on the north edge of Marion.


The theft occurred early Friday around 1 a.m. Two suspects in what appeared to be a newer dark-colored truck parked across the street from the business and stole steel and other metal from outside the business.


Surveillance cameras captured several images of a suspect in action. In the pictures, one of the suspects appears to have a large tattoo on the back of his neck.
