STODDARD COUNTY, Mo. - A southeastern Missouri man died and his wife is charged with his death.

According to an affidavit filed by the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department, a 911 dispatcher received a call from Victoria Isaac of Puxico, Missouri.

She told the operator she shot and killed her husband, Christopher, at their home.  Their son was also home at the time.

He later told investigators he heard gun shots and described the scene saying, "she ended up firing six rounds into him there on the couch."

Deputies arrested Victoria when they got to the house.

A captain said, after she was read her rights, Victoria said she needed to get her medication.  She added that something told her to get up and "end him."

Investigators also say Victoria said she had planned to kill herself, but her son came into the room.
