What's Going Around? October 15,2009

Dr. John Cecil at Paducah's Redicare reports H1N1 flu...but says there's also an illness that has all the symptoms of the flu but tests negative for it. He's also treating sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia.

Dr. Brian Harrison in Benton, Illinois says it may be fall, but he's still seeing lots of poison ivy. He says he's also treating patients with flu like symptoms, but whose tests come back negative.

Dr. Walter Fletcher in Martin, Tennessee reports flu and sinus troubles.

Dr. Joshua Whitledge from Fulton, KY reports: influenza and sinusitis.

Dr. Joyce Hughes in Murray reports, flu, upper respiratory infections and strep throat.

Dr. P. Sean Kelly in Murray also reporting flu with headache, body aches, fever and sore throat.
He's also treating gastroenteritis with nausea/vomiting and fever.

And Dr. John Hale in Union City, Tennessee reporting flu, but a little less than last week...as well as sinus infections, chicken pox and bronchitis.
