PADUCAH - The AQS Quilt Show begins today, and Local 6 takes you behind the scenes to view some of the artwork and talk with quilters and the executive show director.

Marissa Hollowed stopped by to talk with executive show director Bonnie Browning about this week's events, including the opening event--"Quilters on Parade"--and talks throughout the week. For a full listing of scheduled events, click here.

Earlier, Marissa gave us a preview of this year's events and took a look back at some previous years.

Then she spoke with Susan Stewart, winner of this year's Sewing Machine Workmanship Award, about how much goes into the planning and construction of a master quilt.

The quilt show continues through Saturday, with a variety of lectures, Q&A sessions, demonstration events, and some of the most beautiful quilts in the world.
