Overnight fire burns museum in Fredonia
FREDONIA, Ky. - There are reports of a fire at Wilson-Blair African American School Museum in Caldwell County, Kentucky.
According to the assistant fire chief in Caldwell County, the fire at the one room school in Fredonia, Kentucky occurred around 3:30 and was reported by a truck driver who called it in.
The school was open from 1926 until 1948. The museum, which was still open for tours by appointment, was being renovated with help from a $10,000 "Save Our History" grant from the History Channel.
