10 arrested for drug trafficking in West Frankfort 'warrant sweep'
WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. - The West Frankfort Police Department arrested 10 people on drug trafficking charges during what the department called a "warrant sweep" on Monday.
West Frankfort Police Chief Shawn Talluto says the arrests stemmed from lengthy narcotics investigations.
Talluto added that the suspects were charged with multiple trafficking offenses after grand jury indictments were obtained.
Police arrested Wiilliam J. Morris, Denise Ragsdale, Ryan Wallace, April Wallace, Tabitha Allen, David Morrison, Sarah Bock, Michael South, Brandi Waters and Samantha Jones.
The investigation is ongoing and Talluto says more arrests are forthcoming.
