MASSAC COUNTY, Ill. — A Cairo man pleaded guilty Tuesday to first degree murder in connection with the 2010 shooting death of a 23-year-old southern Illinois man.

Demetrius Hill faces 21 years in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of Brad Sims, of Brookport.

Sims was killed during an armed robbery and home invasion at his house Nov. 9, 2010.
