MARION, Ill. - Imagine getting out of your car to run into a gas station and when you returned, your car was gone.

It happened to a woman in Marion, Illinois.  Now, police are looking for the culprit.

Around 9:30 p.m. on March 20, the woman pulled into the gas station's parking lot.  She got out of her 1999 Silver Mitsubishi Eclipse and ran inside.

That's when the thief, who was inside the building, walked out of the station, got into the still-running car and drove away.

Investigators say the culprit is a white male with glasses, wearing gray sweat pants and a hooded shirt with a dark blue sock cap.

Not only has the thief not been located, neither has the car.  It is bearing West Virginia plate number 1HN619.
