Day 42 of man's mission to kayak down MississippiCAIRO, Ill. - Supporters of a man who is kayaking down the Mississippi River are asking for you to offer up a little encouragement. David Stewart of St. George, Utah, is kayaking down the Mississippi River towards his final destination of Costa Rica.
On Sunday he stopped by the Toll House Museum, Fort Defiance Park in Cairo, Illinois. Stewart stopped to use the wi-fi at the location in order to order supplies and a new paddle online.
The items will arrive in Wickliffe, Kentucky tomorrow.
Stewart's journey began 42 days ago at Lake Itasca, Minnesota.
