Gunman opens fire on southern Illinois home, no injuries reported

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Bullets were fired in the direction of a southern Illinois home.  Now, police are looking for the person responsible.

Carbondale, Illinois police say they responded to a 'shots fired' call just after 12:20 am in the 300 block of East Jackson Street.

While investigating, they learned the gunman fired shots at a home in that area.  Thankfully, no one was hit.

The investigation is ongoing.
