ULLIN, Ill. - The Illinois Department of Transportation wants your input on a new highway connecting Paducah, Kentucky and Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

The route stretching across southern Illinois would be between 40 and 50 miles long.

IDOT wants to introduce the project on Wednesday and hear any existing travel concerns people might have.

The meeting is from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the gym on the campus of Shawnee Community College in Ullin. It will be an open house format and no formal presentation will be given.
