CHICAGO, Ill. - There is one less thing that those affected by Sunday's tornadoes will have to worry about affording.

Illinois Secretary of State, Jesse White announced today that victims will be eligible for free services for the next 30 days including duplicate certificate of title, duplicate vehicle registration, duplicate driver's license and duplicate state ID card.

Because counties affected by Sunday's tornadoes have been declared disaster areas by the governor, the office has the authority to offer these services free of charge.

Those desiring these services can apply in person at the nearest Driver Services facility.

Title requests require about 2 days to process.

For more information, motorist may contact the Secretary of State's general hot-line at 800-252-8980 or for questions regarding the priority title service motorists may call 217-524-7889.
