Missouri man killed in Hardin Co. motorcycle crash

A Missouri man is dead after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing on Lamb Road Thursday afternoon in Hardin County, Illinois.

According to Illinois State Police, Timothy Scott, of Wentzville, Missouri, was traveling eastbound on Lamb Road, about half a mile west of Tucker Hill Road when he lost control and swereved off the right side of the roadway.

Troopers say the bike then rolled abotu 15 feet down an embankment south of Lamb Road.

Scott was transported to Hardin County Hospital, but was pronounced dead later Thursday evening. Scott was 59 years old.
