Relay for Life event set for Friday night in Williamson County, Illinois
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. - Last year, Relay for Life events across southern Illinois raised enough money for more than 1,500 cancer patients to receive assistance from the American Cancer Society. Friday night, people in Williamson County will add to this year's total.
The opening ceremony and survivor lap will kick off the Relay for Life event at 6 p.m.
The event will take place at Marion Junior High School.
