BENTON, Ill. (AP) - A southern Illinois woman is jailed on charges that accuse her of driving impaired when she was involved in a wreck that killed another woman.

Prosecutors in Franklin County have charged 20-year-old Samantha Seiler of Cambria with aggravated driving under the influence, endangering a child and marijuana possession.

Authorities say Seiler had a 10-month-old baby in her SUV last week when she failed to stop at a marked intersection and hit a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Sue Ramsey of Mulkeytown.

Ramsey died as a result of injuries. Seiler and the baby were treated at a hospital for minor injuries.

Seiler was being held Tuesday in the Franklin County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Her attorney, Eric Dirnbeck, hasn't returned a message seeking comment Tuesday.

Seiler's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 18.
