Suspect in McCracken County veterinary clinic theft arrested

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - A Tennessee man faces charges of stealing thousands of dollars worth of pet medication.

Local 6 first told you that someone broke into the Cummings Veterinary Clinic last November.

McCracken County Sheriff Deputies say the thief stole $25,000 worth of medication along with several thousand dollars in cash.

The same thief broke into Heartland Veterinary Hospital a month later.

Police in Bloomington, Illinois arrested Gregory R. Webb of Spring City, Tennessee after burglary at a veterninary clinic there.

Police found business cards from veterinary clinics in McCracken County in his possession.

Thursday, Webb was served with two McCracken County warrants for burglary and theft.
