Teen uses tragedy to create new app
MASSAC COUNTY, IL - Nineteen-year-old, Zac Brown spends most of his time in front of the computer developing new software. This passion stemmed from a previous passion, running.
Zac couldn't find anyone that could keep up with him running 10 miles a day so his days running alone were over. He was forced to stay inside where his family could keep an eye on him. It turns out that was a blessing. One afternoon, while sitting on the computer, Hack My Health was born.
"It's basically a virtual buddy that I can take with me on my workouts and then I don't have to worry about having someone with me in case something goes wrong," says Zac Brown.
Hack My Health is currently available in beta form on android. Users can register and use for free on the website hackmyhealth.com during this beta period. It won't be long before the app is available for IOS users.
