KARNAK, Ill. — For the folks in Karnak, Illinois, not only are they dealing with the floodwaters taking over their homes but they haven't had running water for 10 days.

Kim Eddington and her entire family were some of the residents evauated from their home last week. They are now living with 13 members of their family in one home. Four generations from great grandmothers to a 3-year-old great grandson are all under one roof.

"The more the merrier," said Eddington. "Just doing the best we can, you know. It's pretty bad, the water. I don't know what to do with it. It might get worse before it gets better but we're all together."

Now they wait, hoping for the best when they return home.

The city will continue to offer free water to residents for as long as they need it. The city mayor said the water will not be turned back on until floodwaters recede.
