1 arrested, 2 cited in Paducah drug bust

PADUCAH, Ky. - One man is in jail after Paducah police served a search warrant in the 2100 block of Cairo Road in Paducah.

Police arrested 60-year-old Gary Jackson after detectives discovered illegal drug activity inside the home Thursday afternoon. The search warrant was executed after police received tips from neighbors.

Jackson is charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Two other men, 50-year-old Marcus Bowen and 56-year-old Clarence E. Matthews, were also cited. Bowen was charged with Possession of Marijuana while Matthews was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
