2 arrested after stabbing in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. - Two people are in jail after a stabbing in Marshall County, Kentucky.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says a man was stabbed by 36-year-old Misty Thorn and 47-year-old Troy Thompson, both of whom live in Almo. The incident occurred Monday on Karen Faye Lane.

Deputies say Thorn admitted to stabbing the victim with an orange-handled knife, while witnesses said both Thorn and Thompson stabbed him. A search turned up a knife next to the driver's seat of a car Thompson was driving and another knife hidden in a bed. Both knives had blood stains on them when found.

Thorn and Thompson were arrested and charged with Assault 1st Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Both were booked in the Marshall County Detention Center.

There is no word on the condition of the victim, who has not been identified.
