Two area high schools are ranked in the top 15 in their state in the newest U.S. News and World Report "Best High Schools" rankings.

Murray High School and Graves County High School in Kentucky were both ranked in the top 15, and received "silver" rankings from the magazine.

Schools were ranked based on four areas: student to teacher ratio, college proficiency, and math and reading proficiency scores.

Many other area high schools received "bronze" rankings.
