Beshear announces $2.2 million investment, 20 new jobs in Ballard County
BALLARD COUNTY, Ky. - Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear announced plans for a company to establish operations and create 20 jobs in Ballard County.
The governor's office says Transport Logistics International Inc., also known as Daher-TLI, will invest more than $2.2 million in the project.
“Daher-TLI is a perfect fit for Kentucky and Ballard County, especially with all the logistical advantages that area offers, including the river and a strategic location within the country,” Gov. Beshear said.
Daher-TLI specialized in radioactive material and provides engineering services, along with support for packaging and transportation of radioactive material.
The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority approved the company for up to $350,000 in tax incentives through the Kentucky Business Investment program.
