KSP identifies body found in water at Berry's Ferry in Livingston County

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. - Kentucky State Police say a man's body has been found in the Ohio River at Berry's Ferry in Livingston County.

State police identified the man as 79-year-old William A. Quertermous of Paducah.

Investigators say Quertermous slipped and fell into the water and died.  No foul play is suspected.

Quertermous was pronounced dead by the Livingston County Deputy Coroner.

In addition to the state police and the deputy coroner, Kentucky Fish & Wildlife and the Livingston County Rescue Squad responded to the scene.

KSP continues to investigate the case.
