 CADIZ, Ky - There have been a series of break-ins to storage units, and property removed.

The storage facility at Commerce Street next to Cadiz Drywall reported that Saturday afternoon around 1:30 p.m., someone had broken into their storage unit. 

Mark Blackburn, who owns the facility contacted the renters.

Eleven victims have reported that their storage facility had been broken into.

Six of the eleven have reported missing items from their facility.

Those with storage units anywhere in the city should check their unit to make sure their belongings are safe and secure.

The Cadiz Police Department is also encourage people to purchase and use a disc padlock on their units which are designed to be difficult to cut off.
