Comer to visit 13 western Kentucky counties this week
FRANKFORT, Ky. - Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner James Comer plans to visit 13 western Kentucky counties this week.
Comer's office says the purpose of the tour is to speak at agricultural and business events and tour local farms.
"I’m looking forward to visiting with farmers, business leaders, and constituents to find out what’s on their minds and how the Kentucky Department of Agriculture can help their communities grow and prosper,” Comer said.
Comer is beginning his visit with a stop in Mayfield on Monday afternoon. He then plans to speak at the Kentucky Soybean Association meeting in Princeton and the Farm to Table Dinner in Paducah on Tuesday, as well as the Paducah Chamber of Commerce Breakfast on Thursday.
Comer will also speak in Eddyville and Bardwell on Wednesday and in Murray and Hickman County on Thursday.
