PADUCAH —  There's a new place where your canine family member can run, play and explore.

In fact, it's a place Lassie and Rin-Tin-Tin would give two paws up.
Paducah City Leaders cut the ribbon and officially opened Paducah's Dog Park Wednesday afternoon.
The park is located at Stuart Nelson Park, off of Park Avenue near the car dealerships.
Right now the park is open Sunday through Saturday from 6a.m.-9p.m.
A massive fund raising effort by dog owners and dog lovers netted $20,000 while the city chipped in roughly $30,000.
