Dogs rescued from local home ready for adoption

FULTON, Ky. - We have new details on a group of malnourished and abused dogs that were rescued from a local home.

Local 6 first brought you the story in July after one dog, so desperate for food, broke out through a window and neighbors contacted authorities.

The house was condemned, and the owners were found guilty of animal abuse and fined.

With the court case over, the dogs are now ready for adoption.

Fulton Police have received donations and are willing to assist with vet costs for anyone interested in adopting.
