PADUCAH, Ky.— Morphine, ADHD pills, pot, and over $1,500 dollars worth of crystal meth is now off the streets of McCracken County, and the person in possession is behind bars.

This newest arrest stems from two prior meth busts on Friday.
The investigation led authorities to search Van Nguyen's home in the 2100 block of Clay Street in Paducah just after midnight Sunday morning.

Two pit bulls attacked authorities during the search, and were shot as Nguyen tried to escape through a window. He was eventually taken into custody. The search turned up a video surveillance system, weapons, money, and paraphernalia on top of the drugs.

Detectives also found a drug ledger containing names and say more arrests are likely as the investigation continues.
