Victims identified in early morning fatality crash in Calloway County
CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. - Kentucky State Police have identified the victims in an early morning crash that killed one and injured two others in Calloway County.
KSP says 38-year-old Bobby Alexander, of Camden, Tennessee, died at the scene after losing control of his car and sliding sideways on US 641 south of Murray. The passenger side of his car was then struck by a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Jennifer Thompson, of New Concord. Thirty-year-old Kyle Robertson, of Murray, was a passenger in Thompson's vehicle.
Thompson and Robertson were taken to Calloway County Hospital for treatment of injuries.
All drivers and passengers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. - A fatality crash shut down US 641 south of Murray in Calloway County on Friday morning.
Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the crash occurred in the Brandon Bottoms area between mile markers 4 and 6.
Kentucky State Police say three vehicles were involved in the crash, with two cars colliding and a third veering off the roadway to avoid the collision.
KSP adds that one person is dead and two others are injured. Their identities and the condition of the injured victims have not been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
