MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. —  Clothing, televisions are all lost, but a local family is still celebrating  because of the priceless item they saved following a house fire.

The call came in around 1:30p.m. Friday afternoon. Several family members were inside and dozens of animals were at risk as the flames grew taller and the smoke thicker.

Initial reports show the fire started with a faulty water heater in the master bathroom.

Flames engulfed the entire home causing a total loss.  However, despite the loss there was a miracle on Slaughter Street.
