Flames jumped, engulfed two Paducah homes
Paducah Fire Chief, Steve Kyle reports that no one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
The fire at Hayes Avenue is now under control.
PADUCAH, Ky - Crews are currently working to put out a fire that has sent two homes up in smoke.
The Paducah Fire Department was called out to the scene just before 4:30 a.m. this morning to the 400 block of Hayes Avenue.
One home initially caught fire, and then the flames jumped to the second home.
The cause of the fire is not clear yet.
There is no word if anyone was inside the house at the time of the fire.
