Former McCracken Co. Emergency Manager to receive comp pay
Former McCracken County Emergency Manager, Paul Carter will receive compensation pay as determined by a fiscal court.
The fiscal court has agreed Carter deserves comp pay, but need to factor in time as well as the amount that will be owed to Carter. However, this decision will be made by the
Tonight, the fiscal court also named Carter's replacement, Jerome Mansfield.
Carter has argued the county owes him back pay following a suspension in addition to $27 thousand worth of comp pay.
Carter resigned in October after clashing with the county court over a video of Carter in the midst of an altercation with a former employee.
