Former deputy jailer charged with bribery

MARION, Ky - The Kentucky State Police has charged a former Crittenden County Jailer with bribery of a public servant.

KSP detectives charged 52 year-old Bryan Hollis, of Marion, with one count of bribery of a public servant on Saturday, November 16th.

The investigation began after being contacted by Crittenden County Jailer Phil Parker in September 2013. The accused is suspected of bringing contraband into the facility in exchange for monetary gain.

Hollis was arrested without incident at his residence on First Street in Marion. He was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.
