Gov. Beshear orders flags to half-staff Tuesday to honor fallen soldier

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear has ordered flags at all state offices to fly at half-staff Tuesday in honor of a Fort Campbell soldier who was recently killed in Afghanistan.

The Department of Defense says 31-year-old Staff Sgt. Thomas A. Baysore, Jr., of Milton, Pennsylvania, died on September 26 when enemy forces attacked his unit.

Staff Sgt. Baysore was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division
