Grand jury does not indict man in death of his neighbor

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. —  A grand jury did not indict a Marshall County man in the death of his neighbor.

Investigators asked the grand jury to help decide if Jimmy Filbeck was defending his property when he got into a fight that killed Joe Baier back in July.
 
Police said the two men were on Filbeck's property at the time and an autopsy showed Baier died of asphyxiation and manual strangulation.
 
Filbeck was indicted on one charge of Failing to Register as a Sex Offender.  On WPSD Local 6 at 10 we'll hear from Joe Baier's wife.
