GRAVES Co, Ky - During a covert operation, three juveniles were charged with stealing trailers and four-wheelers.

In early December, a utility trailer was stolen from Lowes Home Improvement Center in Mayfield.

The cable had been cut, and the thieves were able to remove the trailer after the store had closed.

Authorities coordinated efforts and found an internet posting of a trailer matching the description of the stolen one online.

The location of the trailer in the photo was near downtown Paducah.

Through a covert operation, detectives located the trailer near the Dublin community in Graves County.

During an interview process, it was revealed that more juveniles were involved in the theft.

It was found in follow-up interviews that the juveniles had stolen more trailers from businesses in Benton and Marshall, Kentucky.

The juveniles would take the trailers, then travel to Graves County in the Hopewell road area and hide the trailer and four-wheelers in a wooded area behind an abandoned house.

The stolen vehicles were taken to a Sheriff's Office impound lot and all the juveniles were released to their parents awaiting court proceedings in Marshall and Graves counties.
