GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. - A Graves County man is in jail after he confessed to stealing several firearms in two separate burglaries.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office says 19-year-old William Gore admitting to stealing the guns from a home in Fancy Farm and another home in Symsonia.

Gore became a suspect in the burglaries after deputies learned he was familiar with both residences and had previously stayed at the Symsonia home.

The sheriff's office says one stolen firearm was traded to a local resident for a three-wheeler while others were sold at area pawn shops. While those have been recovered, the sheriff's office believes Gore might have sold other stolen firearms.

Anyone who might have purchased a firearm from Gore is asked to contact Deputy Jason Harpole or Deputy David Harrison at (270) 247-4501.
