Graves County woman accused of child endangerment, faces several charges

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. - Graves County deputies arrested a woman after they say she was unconscious while under the influence of drugs, leaving a small child in a stroller nearby.

Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says witnesses saw Trina Cruse and her 12-month-old child walking down KY 303 in the dark when she was nearly hit by a vehicle in the roadway. Cruse made it off the roadway, then fell unconscious.

Deputies arrested Cruse after she was found to be under the influence of drugs. Social Services released the child to a grandmother.

Cruse is charged with Public Intoxication, Wanton Endangerment 1st degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container 1st offense.
